A little bit about me…
If I’m honest, I’ve never been good with words which is why photography turned into my creative outlet. They say a picture is worth 1,000 words and I find looking back at an image is the most powerful way to relive a moment in memory.
I’m based in the Highlands of Scotland where I enjoy exploring the country’s hidden gems by walking remote areas as much as I can. Other than work and family life, you’ll find me exploring the hills or travelling anywhere I can (with the camera packed for the adventure). My business background is in advertising and marketing where it was my media degree which saw me pick up a DSLR camera for the first time. From there my photography journey started…

What areas do you cover?
Absolutely anywhere. On top of a mountain, in a registry office or a fairytale elopement abroad, nothing is off limits. I’m based in the Scottish Highlands but I’m an avid traveller so would be delighted to make your day special anywhere in the world. I also have knowledge of local spots across the Highlands from many, many hours walking the hills and paths so if it’s a rustic location you’re looking for, I’d love to help you source the right place for you.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Up to a year ahead of your wedding date would be the maximum time to wait before booking as this is when photographers typically have their dates filling up for the year ahead if not before. Sometimes dates will be taken already so I suggest contacting me as soon as you’ve set your date to see if it’s available. If you’re a couple who are spontaneous and have set a day for the near future, pop me a message as I’ll always see what I can do.
What is your photography style?
I’m very much a candid photographer so I like to catch people in the moment for it to really tell the story. It is your wedding so I’ll of course capture traditional couple and group photos if you’d like that but in the most part I’ll be photographing your day exactly how it plays out.
Do you shoot elopement weddings?
Absolutely! As a fellow elopement bride, I know how exciting planning this type of wedding is so would be delighted to help you with yours.
I’m worried I’ll feel uncomfortable in front of the camera.
I really do know how you feel which is why I don’t look to set a photo up to make you feel uncomfortable. My preferred style is similar to that of a photojournalist where I’ll be there to move around while you and your guests are enjoying themselves.
How long does it take to receive images after the wedding?
To ensure your whole album of memories are the best quality, I aim to have digital prints to you within a month of the wedding day.
